Un metodo estremamente semplice da utilizzare, e cosa ancora più interessante, compatibile con la maggior parte dei browser (si, anche IE 6). Si affianca a Google Font Api, la Google Font Directory all’interno della quale sono presenti i fonts messi a disposizione e che in breve tempo, a quanto pare, aumenteranno.

Il primo è CSS Type Set, un’ottima utility per la scelta e la personalizzazione del testo che dispone anche della maggior parte delle funzioni utilizzate dai designers.

Il secondo è CSSDesk, che mette a disposizione una vera e propria scrivania di lavoro nella quale possiamo testare tutto il codice che vogliamo e averne un’istantanea preview.

Oggi vi segnaliamo una simpatica, ma quanto mai utile, tavola periodica dei caratteri, da utilizzare sempre per trovare il carattere giusto per ogni vostro progetto! I caratteri sono classificati per prestigio e notorietà, e all’interno di ogni elemento possiamo trovare tutte le informazioni che ci servono a riguardo: tipo, classe, autore, anno e piccola preview. Sicuramente da aggiungere ai preferiti

La giusta combinazione dei caratteri utilizzati all’interno di un sito web è senza dubbio un’elemento importantissimo sia per quanto riguarda l’aspetto grafico della pagina web, sia per la l’immediatezza e la facile comprensione dei contenuti presenti in essa. Grunge

These fonts are messy, and they’re not ashamed of it.

1. Guilty: Guilty is a grunged-out typewriter style face.
2. Tiza: This font has a nice rubbed-out effect.
3. Print Error: Print Error has lots of background, resembling exactly what it sounds like-a print error.
4. El&Font Gohtic!: This font has lots of scratches, X accents, and angel wings.
5. Dirty Uncle: In true dirty fashion, this font’s outlines give way to scribbles at the bottom.
6. Astonished: Underneath Astonished’s thin, clean look is a bit of grunge.
7. Bleeding Cowboys: Last Soundtrack’s Bleeding Cowboys font offers a bit of swirly flair for an otherwise tough western font.
